charity is a strategy for enhancing e-waste recycling in Singapore.
The objective is to increase exposure of e-waste recycling in Singapore and induce behavioural change in young adults regarding attitudes towards electronic waste.
Tactic 1: Develop a mobile application to source and collect electronic products from households

In partnership with charities and non-profit organisations, these electronics will be donated to the needy and less privileged. For example polytechnic students who need laptops or televisions for the elderly.
The application is a communication bridge between the donor and our organisation. The donor will take a photo of their donation and fill in the details. An employee will assess the electronic, and determine its condition. A reusable donation will be sent to respective charity organizations, if it is beyond economical repair it will be properly disposed off.
Tactic 2: Implementation of collecting bins at strategic locations such as tertiary institutions, community centres and heartland malls.

By locating collecting bins at or otherwise near their school, work or residence, we make it significantly easier for them to bring their electronics for collecting as part of their daily routine without needing to go out of their way to do so.
We intend to heavily promote this cause during certain periods of the year namely the start of school terms when young adults are most likely to have purchased new electronic

Instead of using the standard bins that are already used in the Singapore market, we intend to create a bin that is visually appealing and more interactive.
Creating an interactive unit that allows donors to deposit more valuable electronic products for donation, such as mobile phones, tablets and computers. This will also create be a form of security feature, so that people will not be able to take products out of the bin. This would also prevent any inflicted damages on the electronic product as it goes into the bin.
We want to salvage as much from each individual product as we can, if we can maximize the re-usability of the product. We can still prevent the item from being recycled, as reusing a product is better for our environment.
